Vladimir Vasiliev is regarded as one of the top experts of hand-to-hand combat and weapons defense in the world.  His trademark improvisational style, speed, and fluidity has put him in a class of his own, and thousands attend his international seminars with the hope of gleaning his historic-level fighting genius.

After a decade of extensive service with the elite Special Operation Units in Russia, he moved to Canada in 1993 and founded the first school of Russian Martial Art outside of Russia - Systema Headquarters.
